Workshop: Embodying Compassion and Solidarity through Action
Workshop: Embodying Compassion and Solidarity through Action

This workshop will offer three parts:

  • Practical actions we can take to benefit vulnerable communities

  • Resilience practices to strengthen ourselves

  • Role-play showing up for justice and disrupting bigotry and harassment.

Let's put our "muscular" compassion into practice by outlining specific actions we can take to protect people and planet.

To do that, we need to build up our own resilience and wellbeing, so I'll lead a few master practices to increase our capacity.

Then, using the tools of improv, we'll role-play various scenarios and situations and how to increase compassion & justice and disrupt bigotry and harassment. (E.g., see 5 Ways to Disrupt Racism)

This will be a compassionate and enlivening learning environment.
